As per Wikipedia, these were the countries (in addition to the United States) that executed the most citizens in 2010: China, Iran, North Korea, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Libya, Syria, Bangladesh and Somalia.

Dictatorships, oppressive governments and communists, basically.

They say you can tell a lot about a person by the company they keep, so you’ll understand why the rest of us in the civilized world are disappointed that you’re not better than this, America.

We can do better.
